The 2018 Tulip Ball Community Service Award Recipient is Frank Guido. This Hudson Valley Restaurateur is known for his generosity – to his employees, patrons, and the local community. A life-long area resident, he has been recognized by St. Mary’s Benevolent Society and the White Eagle Benevolent Society, and was the first “Man of the Year” of the Ulster County Italian-American Foundation. In 2009, he received “The Heart of Ulster County Award” from the Ulster County Regional Chamber of Commerce and has been recognized for his dedication to our veterans and numerous other service organizations. His family-owned restaurants – Frank Guido’s Little Italy, Mariner’s Harbor, and Port of Call – have increased tourism in Kingston and Catskill, employed thousands of local workers, and supported numerous Ulster County not-for profits.
Throughout his career, he has hosted fundraisers for many healthcare-related causes and is pleased help bring in contributions for opioid and addiction treatment services at HealthAlliance. These services include inpatient addiction treatment and rehabilitation, adult and adolescent day treatment programs, group and individual therapy, and continuing care sessions. Please help this critical service by giving whatever you can using the 'Give Now' button.
The more people that know about these services at HealthAlliance, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing this page with your friends and family. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!
